This build's main skill is Blizzard, so we'll be investing the majority of our points in the Cold Skill tree. Sorceress has access to three Skill Trees, Cold, Lightning, and Fire. There is no reason to put points into this skill as a Blizzard Sorc.
Energy - Energy determines Mana total and Mana recovery. Once you have your requirements met for Strength and Dexterity, everything else should go here. Vitality - Vitality determines Health total, Stamina total, and Stamina recovery. Depending on your gear, you might need a few points in this, but there's little reason to waste points in Dexterity. Dexterity - Dexterity determines Block chance and attack rating. You just want enough Strength to meet your gear requirements. Strength - Strength determines what type of gear your Sorceress can wear, as well as how much melee damage you do. In general, look to get at least 105% Faster Cast Rate through your geat to maximize your clear speed. It's one of the better overall options, but if you really want to push your Magic Find up, a sword with the Spirit runeword is another great option. It offers +3 Sorc Skills, Faster Cast Rate, a bonus to Cold Damage, and Fire and Lightning Resist. That makes it tough to lock down too many items that "required." That said, having a Death's Fathom in your weapon slot will never be a bad thing. You can build it for high DPS or high Magic Find depending on what gear you have. Slow kill speed versus Cold immune enemiesĪs mentioned above, this build is pretty versatile. The build's biggest weaknesses are dealing with Cold immune enemies and her inefficiency in fighting end-game Uber bosses. Overall, she is a versatile build that lets you quickly clear monsters and bosses with high Magic Find. There are several top-end options, but you can easily work with just a full set of Tal Rasha's Wrappings. On top of that, it's actually relatively easy to get the gear needed for a Blizzard Sorc. All other classes need the Enigma Body Armor Runeword to add that ability to their end-game toolkit. One of her biggest strengths is the incredible mobility that she gets from the Teleport Skill.
